Washington County Hospital to Dedicate New Facility Sunday
Washington County Hospital will dedicate its new 50 bed facility Sunday May 12 with a 1:30 p.m. program and open house. The project cost about 1.55 million dollars with a 544000 federal share and 750000 local bond issue. the remainder came from a hospital building fund. Construction replaces the old building and adds private two bed rooms with baths, air conditioning, gas heat, nurse call systems and extensive service areas. Dedication features Eagle Scouts raising the flag and ribbon cutting by hospital officials. two clergy will give invocations and benediction.
