Bequeath of Windshield Wipers Turns Dangerous Incident
Franklin Schroeder, 81, asked to fix his car wipers at a service station in Beloit Wisconsin. A attendant told him to step on the foot pedal causing the auto to lunge backward into a bakery corner. The car rolled over a 2 inch stake and knocked down a 77 year old pedestrian on the sidewalk. Twenty feet of steel fence was sheared. The pedestrian suffered cuts and bruises while Schroeder was only scratched.
