Heart and Club Finesse Lead in Contract Bridge
In Becker's note, declarer should play the heart finesse at trick two to maximize chances. If South holds the king of hearts, the plan allows continuing with ace and another club, ensuring success. The alternative club finesse early risks defeat unless exact club distribution favors a 3-2 break, making the heart finesse the better percentage play.
