In Palisades Kepler State Park seven miles east of Cedar Rapids a car driven by Craig Spratt 16 struck a tree at high speed killing Berry Caldwell 16 son of Mr and Mrs Donald Caldwell of Cedar Rapids. Caldwell died on arrival at a Cedar Rapids hospital.
