Gas jet fire threat prompts vigilant night watch
Last night nightwatch Johnson and others prevented a north side blaze when gas from Rayguet's cellar lit a joist after swinging from a faulty jet. A calm wind kept the fire from worsening, and authorities say the scene could have been serious if not contained.
