Paris reports Phelps Collins of Detroit a Lafayette flying corps member was killed on March 13 during patrol duty after driving an enemy aircraft down and being hit, falling inside German lines. Davnce Putnam of Brookline Massachusetts has downed two more German planes, total five with four official.
