Huckins sentencing delayed to next Tuesday in Iowa
Sentencing of George E Huckins for obtaining money under false pretenses was postponed until Tuesday after his attorney Walter J Barnstover requested time to file a motion for a new trial. Huckins and his father Elmer Huckins face similar charges, with defense claiming lack of sufficient preparation and seeking relief from unfavorable publicity surrounding their business practices.
