George W. Smith Dies of Injuries in California Accident
George W. Smith aged 51, of Washington, died in a Escondido hospital from injuries from a Monday automobile crash near Escondido California. He and partner Forrest Williams were returning from Laguna Beach when the trailer boat rig lost control after a fire caused the driver to lose control. Williams is hospitalized in serious condition. Smith born Keota December 16 1895 married February 27 1922 to Sylvia Davidson of Winfield. He had lived in California 22 years and worked in Huntington Park in the insurance business.
