Plane crash in Louisiana kills 15 at New Orleans airport
A private plane carrying 26 people bound for a duck and jaguar hunt crashed in thick fog at New Orleans International Airport. Fifteen died, 11 survived. Survivors were rushed to Ochsner Hospital. The flight originated in Memphis. FBI aid was requested to identify victims.

Sioux City reported 22 inches of new snow with power outages from falling lines as winds gusted to 55 mph. snow piled up to four inches in extreme north and west regions while the storm moved eastward.
