Princeton Indiana March 19 Wilibur Rutledge foreman of the Ayrshire mines east of town has fallen mentally deranged from the aftereffects of a lightning stroke.
A post mortem on Jacob Price of Spartansboro Indiana found death from hemorrhage while he suffered tuberculosis. The heart was half normal size and flabby, crowded under the sternum with the collar bone fractured and only partially healed. Dr Berry led the examination noting possible prior trauma from a sawing accident two years earlier that may have displaced the heart.
Three leaders of the single tax movement Rev Dr McGlynn George Fowlda and W J Atkinson gathered in Kansas City on March 19 for an informal reception. Fowlde said New Zealand and New South Wales had benefited from the single tax theory before heading east.

In South Haven Michigan on March 19 investigators cite jealousy of a married woman as the motive for the death of Stephen Sprague found near Deer Lick Creek. Suspect Jeff Mason is under arrest and protests innocence. Sprague had been visiting the woman and her husband in Covert Township six miles away. Mason was seen walking toward home along the railroad tracks shortly after the incident. Mrs Betts says she saw Mason heading in that direction minutes later.
Terrible blast in the Santa Isabel mine at Belmez Cordova province results in sixty corpses recovered with many workers still missing. A separate Montego Bay storehouse dynamite blast in Jamaica kills several and injures others. In Des Moines the Senate bill faces committee roadblocks with adjournment dates set for late March.
