Albert Charles Wesseling, 48, of Des Moines, was sentenced to 30 years in the Iowa Penitentiary at Fort Madison after being found guilty of habitual criminal. Judge Ed J. Kelley handed down the sentence in Webster City. An appeal bond was set at 20,000. He is father of Gary Lee Wesseling, already serving life for the 1963 slaying of Grinnell police officer Ralph Ogan Jr.
