Longevity expectations and aging progress revisited
The piece argues against sensational 150 year life claims and explains that average life expectancy at birth has risen mainly due to fewer deaths in youth. At ages 45 and 65 the gains are modest, showing more people surviving early life rather than dramatic advances in aging. It emphasizes practical health focus over unrealistic longevity promises.
