Convicts and Guards Battle at Kilby Prison

Ralph Springer Dies at County Hospital

Surviving are his widow Anna Pearl Robertson daughter Ruth Eloise aged three his father Frank Springer of Omaha Nebraska and his mother Mrs Charles McKinstry of west of Washington. Funeral services are planned for Wednesday at 2 36 PM at the Baptist church with interment in Elm Grove cemetery.

John F Swift Dies Near Jennings Kansas
John F Swift, son of Mrs John Swift of Washington, died at his Jennings Kansas home after a long illness linked to influenza and tuberculosis. Born January 25 1875, he married Emma Brock on August 30 1898 and left nine children. He moved with his family to Kansas twenty eight years ago to farm near Jennings.
