Guy Steele turned over his milk delivery route to his son-in-law Fred White early this month. He had nearly 36 years on the route and only two months short of completing it. Only one patron remained who joined the route at the start.

Adams county farm manager M Reynolds reports an 11 sow start costing 120 each. The herd produced 78 pigs born and 67 raised, with 56 sold for 1 114 and 5 sold for 50. Hogs on hand valued at 420, total income 1 614 before feed.

Humboldt resident P. J. Kendall refuses sale of a treasured Abraham Lincoln half dollar given by Lincoln himself to Kendall as a boy. Coin collectors offer large sums for the heirloom, which Kendal cherishes as a family keepsake from the former president.
About seventy members of an adult education class will complete the ten sight course here Thursday after a winter session in Winterset on March 4.

Mrs Eldon Bauer of West Chester died in Washington county hospital from complications after the birth of a daughter Sandra Lou a week ago. Born Cornelia Nina Wagner January 4 1912 at Columbus Junction she was married October 16 1929. Survived by husband infant daughter son nearly 5 mother two sisters and more.
