Keith Adams dies in Iowa City after lingering illness

Keith Adams 57 of Wellman died March 11 at Mercy Hospital Iowa City after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at Wellman Methodist Church with Rev. Paul M. Dietterich. interment in Wellman cemetery. Gifts may go to Asbury Church Memorial Fund. He was born January 19, 1901 near Wellman, worked in grain coal and produce, and as a Wellman Creamery bookkeeper. He married Martha Jennings June 16, 1931. survived by Martha, a son James, four cousins and many friends. His parents and infant son preceded him in death.

Weather forecast for Iowa region five day outlook

United Press Iowa reports generally fair conditions in the north and partly cloudy in the south with a slight chance of snow flurries tonight. Warmer temperatures are expected southward with lows near 20 to 30, and a high in the upper 30s to upper 40s. The five day period should see near normal to slightly below normal temperatures, with light precipitation around .30 to .45 inches as snow begins Friday and spreads through Sunday.
