Warren C. Long of Mt. Pleasant and former Washington resident died suddenly yesterday afternoon on the streets of Mt. Pleasant from a heart attack. Funeral services will be held at Cookes funeral home in Mt. Pleasant and Reynolds funeral home in Sigourney with arrangements for both locations. Long, born December 26, 1879 in Sigourney, was a farmer earlier in Keokuk county and lived near Washington before moving to Mt. Pleasant four years ago. He married Myrtle Gildand in 1900 and had nine children, with six surviving, plus 13 grandchildren. A second marriage in 1942 to Nellie Sponberg also survives.
