Mrs Catherine Swift Tracy died at 5 15 pm yesterday at her daughter Mrs Oscar Brock s home 719 North Iowa Ave where she had lived for eight years She was nearly 85 and bedfast two weeks Funeral services will be at St James Catholic Church Wednesday at 9 am Rev Joseph O Donnell officiating Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery A rosary will be held tonight at 7 30 at Le A Jones funeral home She was born in Ireland March 17 1841 came to America in 1870 and married William Fred Tracy on July 14 1874 Mr Tracy died November 16 1886 Mrs Brock the only child and Tracy the last of her family leaving daughter and grandchildren as surviving relatives She was a devout Catholic and loved both home and church

Irene Schroeder on trial for the murder of State Highway Corporal Brady Paul suddenly collapsed shortly after the session opened in New Castle Pennsylvania and was taken to the county jail for medical care. The court recessed as physicians tended her before she was returned to the courtroom appearing pale but recovering. Schroeder conferred with her defense lawyers and Judge Hildebrand ordered a sheriff's wife to escort her from the room.
