Funeral for Rev Karl Michels Held in Muscatine
Attorney T A Michels attended the funeral of his father Rev Karl Michels formerly of Washington. Services were at the Michels home led by Dr Joseph M Kennedy of Muscatine Presbyterian Church. Burial at Greenwood cemetery. Rev Michels aged about 90 organized Evangelical churches in Valley and Washington before later serving in Burlington and Muscatine. He retired twenty years ago after a long ministry. Survived by Elisabeth his wife two sons Otto K Michels Dallas Texas and T A Michels Washington and four daughters Norma Harris Des Moines Esther Minder Hilda Michels Lola Michels.
