Milk loses taste and vitamins from sunlight and light
North Carolina experts warn milk exposed to direct or indirect sunlight or fluorescent lighting deteriorates in as little as 30 minutes. Consumers should use brown bags or covered boxes, and grocers should consider filtration. The report notes a bicycling revival with colleges like Yale, Dartmouth, and Rutgers participating in racing.
