Irish-born Celia Beers Dies at 85 in East Washington Home
Mrs. Celia Beers aged 85 died last evening at the home of her niece Mrs. Jim Boyd in East Washington. She had resided there since July and was born in Ireland. Services were held at the home with interment in Elm Grove Cemetery this afternoon.

Workman Injured At Electric Light Plant In Gas Explosion
Ifred Beliel, a workman at the electric light plant, nearly died last night after a gas explosion. He entered the engine room to start the gas engine, placed his foot in the fly wheel, and was unconscious with a scalp wound.
