Ice on Its Hands Stops Town Clock
At about ten in the morning the courthouse tower clock stopped after a heavy load of ice formed on its hands. Maintenance chief Ed Carvis said the clock will run again as soon as the ice melts and drops off the trees and other places where it has formed.
