The Italian orchestra which played here last night for the dance at the Commercial club will give a piano dance this evening in Phoenix. Good music and a delightful time promised for all who attend.
The & Y. P. U. hosts a social at the Neal home. Mrs. Boyd invites St James Sewing circle for a Thursday gathering. A Brighton river trip by Donovan’s auto entertained youth despite rain. A Presbyterian C E meeting covers officer elections. A Kaye wedding unites Geneva Merle and John Orie Turner with a formal ring ceremony and reception. A Sabbath outing to Box Springs precedes a Sixty-Sixers reunion at Rodman’s. A large Commercial Club dance features an Italian Chicago orchestra. A July Fourth picnic is planned for English River and Kalona with about twenty couples RSVP’d.
The town buzzes with daily visits and travels. Mrs. T. W. Rowan and Miss Ella Atchison spend time in Brighton and Crawfordsville while Warren Moore heads to Chicago on business. The scene highlights Johnson's promotions, frequent city visitors, and a camping party heading to Cone Lake for a few weeks.
