Mother and Son Die of Spotted Fever in Iowa
Mrs. Mary Bow en of Ottumwa and her son Richard aul, age eight, both died from Rocky Mountain spotted fever. Richard died last week. Mary Bow en died Tuesday night at University Hospital in Iowa City after being hospitalized since Saturday.
