Fire destroyed the Northwestern Power and Light plant in Petersen Iowa last night causing 456000 dollars in damage. Officials said the plant was a total loss and left Linn Grove Sioux Rapids Monoeta Everly Marathon Royal and Peterson without power for four hours though temporary circuits were established by Sioux City Power and Light Co. Cause of the blaze was not determined.
