City Council Minutes and Bills Approved After Finance Review

Riverside Board Raises Salaries For Next School Year
Riverside officials report four teachers will receive pay increases for the upcoming year. Superintendent Holt gains 1500 dollars annually, Margaret Jane Griffin 90, Pauline Reed 80, and Opal Geret Velma Tobin 7 dollars per month for nine months. A replacement for Miss Joan Reinhart has yet to be chosen. Funeral services were held for Robert Swank, 35, at his mother Effie Swank’s Riverside home. Swank, born December 19, 1898, died June 15 after pneumonia while living near Cripple Creek, Colorado.
