80 Acre Tracts Bring Record Auction Prices in Two Counties
Three 80 acre tracts from the Barbara Cox estate sold Monday in Washington County at $2 270, $2 105 and $1 700 per acre to Howard Lanning, Lawrence Miksch, and Yaro Chmelar respectively. A Jefferson County tract sold to Tom Haskins for $1 955 per acre. Auctioneer Keith Murphy called the bids record level.
