Iowa faced its third consecutive day of violent storms with tornadoes heavy rains and flooding. The National Weather Service warned of a flood in Hamburg Cass County where Nishnabotna River rose six feet above flood stage. David Alan Fagen 19 of rural Keota remains jailed on an open murder charge in the shooting death of Keota Night Marshal Douglas Bell. Bond was continued at 500000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. June 28 in Keokuk County Magistrate Court. Bell’s body was found along Highway 77 about 20 miles south of Keota, shot several times.
