Crane Company factory progress in northeast Washington
Crane Company shows substantial progress on a new northeast Washington factory with a complete exterior tan sand tower and framed west office area. Interior work continues as heavy equipment arrives, including a 10 ton overhead crane and electric arc furnaces in the foundry area, with machining in the machine shop and a two‑section main building. An air pollution control system will release cleaned air back to the atmosphere, reducing local pollution. Upon opening, the plant plans to employ over 150 workers after recent Chamber interviews.
