Keota June 15 Frank O Bridwell 64 manager of the Princess theater for twenty to twenty five years died of uremic poisoning in an Iowa City hospital at 5 30 yesterday evening. He had been a semi invalid for years suffering rheumatic trouble. He was in the hospital about a week before his death. His first wife died years ago and their three daughters were raised by his second wife. The daughters are Beth Mrs Gail Henock of Baldwin Park Calif Gertrude Mrs Basil Jones of Oskaloosa and Miss Dorothy

Mrs Bridwell Delayed Home Coming After Death in Iowa City

Farm bureau band returns from Chicago Century of Progress visit
The Southern Iowa farm bureau band came home excited from the Century of Progress exposition in Chicago. William Stewart praised the electrical building and the House of Magic while Karl Bevins highlighted science wonders. Bevins stayed after the national music contest to play with the band, noting his high ranking in division two among forty three clarinetists from seventeen states.
