Paris officials said 46 people are probable dead in the Sky master crash in the Persian Gulf. Surviving search efforts resumed with little hope of more living victims. A block of Anamosa limestone from the Stone City quarry was fitted into Flag House Square during dedication ceremonies in Baltimore. The map features stones from 48 states. White Market in Milk Starts in East
A six day old strike by drivers and dairy employees shuts regular deliveries in the seven county Pittsburgh area. Farmers bottle milk at spring houses and out of town truckers sell surplus milk to chain stores at around 19 cents a quart.
