Five hundred dollars in prize money will be distributed for a monster parade in Washington on July Fourth. A soliciting committee reports $1,000 raised, committees named by president Joe Mckihinney, bands to perform, and numerous cash awards for horse exhibits, floats, and costumes. Public support urged to ensure a statewide friendly, locally focused celebration with balloon ascension and fireworks.

He described meeting Browne at the St Nicholas hotel and being told to keep the pledge secret while names were checked. Court limited admissibility of jackpot money and noted exceptions for Beckemeyer and Lick payments.
