Keota Woman Hurt When Struck by Car
Mrs A Hochstatler of Keota was struck by an automobile at a street corner in Keota last evening. On Wednesday June th the annual pig and calf club tour began in Washington with a 9 30 start heading east. Stops included the Thlatter home for pig judging and Robert Hen Nas east of Crawfordsville to view two calves one white and one angus. Extension agent Frank Reed accompanied the group and photographed the angus calf with a crowd. The tour moved to Joe Jones Their boy with an angus calf then to Bert Peas near Naverside for a picnic dinner with Mrs. Booth serving strawberry shortcake and hot coffee. A group of sixty to seventy people toured Eyrestones and nearby farms visiting Wilbur with two Poland China pigs and Duros at Nathan Young and Wendell Booth. They saw two Duroes at M E Booths and two Haumpshires at Baners. Milton Ross showed a litter of Duroes, Roy Wells hosted Hereford calves, and a stop at Bell’s was cut short for a train. The day ended tired but declared a success with one flat tire.

Four Die When Car Crashes Into Elm Near Yale
In Guilford Connecticut a speeding car crashed into a large elm early today killing four.
