Admonitions on electricity and life echo in Mt Pleasant column

A Mt Pleasant column muses on electricity, its unseen force, and its daily impact. It praises Dr. Everett Jarvis's adoption of a boy named Mike, urging readers to consider fostering. The piece then warns against backing cars without ensuring a clear path for children, and recalls George McDaniel’s long running business column, comparing it with Joe McElhinney’s 35 years of daily notes.
