Funeral services over the remains of Beriah Wilkins editor and publisher of the Washington Post will be held tomorrow afternoon from his home. Rev Tennis Yamfin pastor of the Church of the Covenant will officiate. Interment will be at Rock Creek cemetery.
Bluffton Indiana June 9 Miss Lelia Christman 17 daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Christman underwent amputation of the right leg above the knee. Cancerous growth traced to a bruise.
George Mahan, a Black man, was found guilty of murder in the second degree for the death of his wife in St Paul. He received a life sentence after the verdict announced on June 9.

Danville Illinois June 9 David Sket tay a former street car motorman was struck on the head by a stone hurled by his stepson Charles Lrwin and died instantly. Lrwin was arrested and jailed after admitting the offense. The quarrel began at home and moved to the yard where the stone was thrown. The stepson is 18 years old. It is the second fatal incident in four days.
