Harry L. Paschal 90, of Crawfordsville, died this morning June 8 1965 at Muscatine General Hospital after a month of illness. Born January 2 1875 in Louisa County he farmed with his father before moving to Crawfordsville in 1910 to run a cafe then a produce business until 1950 retirement. A member of Crawfordsville Methodist Church he is survived by several cousins. Funeral Thursday at 10 a.m. at Crawfordsville Methodist Church with Rev John D Cornish officiating. Burial in Crawfordsville Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home.

U S air units bombed military targets near Hanoi and 80 miles south, including a power plant and port facilities. In the south, 77 guerrillas were killed and 28 captured in clashes from Da Nang to the Mekong delta, with 9 Americans wounded. A major helicopter assault sent 150 paratroopers into action while 2 paratroopers and 2 helicopter crewmen were wounded.
