Mrs. Stanley Mouser has driven Prairie Flower school's bus for four years with no accidents or stuck conditions. Her 19 mile route spans tough roads and weather, serving 23 students before four moved away. She earned a safety award two years ago and stays active in community and church life.

Mrs. Della Hamilton 82 of Fredonia died Monday at Louisa county home where she had lived for years. Services set for 2 30 p.m. Wednesday June 3 at Stephens funeral home Col umbus Junction with burial in Cedar Bethel cemetery. Born November 8 1870 she is survived by son Ray Cedar Rapids and daughter Mrs. Fred Byers Washington.
Des Moines report says farmers placed near record corn under price supports with 169,518,975 bushels in 1952. McClain notes heavy loans and purchase agreements create storage pressures. Government offers 13 cents per bushel for resealed corn kept on farms to encourage more storage facilities.
Des Moines reports a week of warm sunny weather benefiting Iowa crops. Farmers completed corn planting and cultivation while soybeans were planted ahead of average. Corn stands are good with some worm damage. oats and pastures show strong growth. Rain needed soon to sustain gains.
Washington friends learn of Mrs. H C Miller death in Moline Illinois hospital after a brief illness. She formerly lived in Washington and was known there as Mrs Goldie Miller. Her late husband served as Western Union manager here. She was once worthy high priestess of the White Shrine. Funeral plans tentatively set for Wednesday.
Drowning victim Ruth Ann Shettler seven will be laid to rest at the Wellman Mennonite church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. George Miller and Max Yoder will lead services with Powell funeral home handling arrangements. Burial follows in Wellman Mennonite cemetery. Survived by Earl and Mary Schlabaugh Shettler, six brothers Don Rae Cecil Dean Carl Edward Frederick Milford Gary Gilbert and Kenneth Earl, and sisters Mary Lois and Rachel. brothers to serve as pallbearers.
Ottumwa police report two break-ins early today. Thieves struck the M. K. Hallberg market on the south side, found little cash, and set the building ablaze causing total loss. About an hour later they looted a nearby grocery filling station owned by Leroy Blumer and set it on fire. the building was saved but contents were damaged by smoke and water.
Republican senators met and voted 3-1 for an end of July adjournment with a return in January and 2-1 against a fall session. They outlined a legislative program unlikely to finish by August 1, and agreed to reconvene to decide on an autumn session.

Six Washington county Rural Young People members attended the district camp at Camp Abe Lincoln in Scott county from May 30 to June 2. About 75 AYP members from southeastern Iowa joined. Washington county attendees included Shirley Petratz LuElla Sojka Alice Eis George Wilkinson Gerald Howell and Eloise Brown with Gerald Neiman visiting Sunday. The event emphasized a relaxing weekend with sports and group activities and featured a breakfast cookout at Wildcat Den and a watermelon feed closing the camp.
Iowa City report says three University of Iowa students Jean Jedaburn, 19, Creston Richard Morrison, 18, Oskaloosa and Jerry Smith, 17, Oskaloosa face larceny charges after Cedar Rapids store manager accused shoplifting. Police say they signed incorrect ages on draft cards to join a hospital blood donor list. Bond set at 1000 dollars each.
