New Vault for Elm Grove Cemetery Planned
Elm Grove cemetery association plans a modern public vault with eighteen crypts, fronting a south cut stone face in a 14 by 30 foot space. Wilber Miller designed the underground steel-framed vault with a circular drive, ventilation, drainage, and a grand north side location. The project includes stonework, a 12 foot drive, and a plan to ease winter interments. In the same issue, district Epworth League convention details for Muscatine District are announced for June 15 to 17 in West Liberty.
