Wellman Man Dies After Quarry Electrocution
A Wellman man, William Shetler, operator at the Wassonville quarry northeast of Wellman, was fatally shocked when a live Town Electric wire fell after a dynamite blast. Rescue efforts continued at 2:30 PM as workers tried to revive him. The incident occurred near Wellman as Keith Sweet and others transported him.
