Plan Changes Seek Accurate Farm Census
The 1969 agricultural census will begin in January 1970 with a revised emphasis on commercial farms. It defines farms by two tests and highlights reporting on farms with sales of $2,500 or more, while noting the existing 1959 1964 standard. The plan aims to better reflect farms supplying most of the nation's food and fiber.
