West Chester man dies in two car crash near Iowa City
Elmer Fabian aged 49 of West Chester died from chest injuries after a two car crash 10 miles south of Iowa City on highway 1 this morning. Allen Bohr 22 of Keota was hospitalized with broken ribs and cuts. Officials report Fabian was passing another car when his vehicle struck Bohr’s car coming from the opposite direction. Both cars pulled onto the shoulder and collided. The crash occurred around 6:45 a.m.
