Thieves Enter Back Door Robbing Ed Johnson for Thirty Dollars

A robber entered Ed Johnson's East Madison Street home through a back kitchen door during the night and stole about thirty dollars from a black leather wallet. A pair of pants with thirty-five cents left inside was found in the adjoining room. Mrs Johnson heard a back door slam but did not alarm the family. The Johnsons moved here last year from La Harpe and believe local tramps may be involved. A previous disturbance on the same street last fall had a similar entry. One free box of Dwight's Complexion Beautifier is offered to readers who mail addresses with a 10 cent stamp.
