Badger Shot After Cornering By Dogs Near Wellston Farm
Don Orr, an oil tank driver, delivered a 35 pound badger to the journal office after picking up the animal at the Charles Harvey farm south of Wellston. The badger was shot by Harvey’s son-in-law Wednesday night following a half hour standoff with hunting dogs. Dr. and Mrs. J. J. DiLorenzo and their three daughters from Arlington are visiting the Lemmon home for the weekend.
