Funeral Rites Planned for Marcus J. Hay
Marcus J. Hay of East Washington street died at his home at 2 50 this morning after two years of ill health. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p m at Jones Funeral Home with Dr Evert Haney officiating, burial in Elm Grove Cemetery. He was born February 18 1872 in Donegal county Ireland and moved to Iowa with his parents a year later. He lived with his sisters and niece Helen Wylie after retiring from farming in 1938. Survived by one brother Joseph Hay, Waterloo Jr., and several nieces and nephews.
