Boy Kidnapped Near Jericho Home on Long Island
Six year old Paul Freider, son of Irving Freider, was abducted near his Jericho home. Richard Bassik, 33, of New York City, an employee of the elder Freider, was arrested after Paul used Bassik’s absence in a motel room to call the switchboard. Bassik faces first degree kidnapping charges.
