Royall Testifies On May Accusation In War Probe
Undersecretary of War Kenneth Royall testified before Senator Mead's War Investigating committee that Representative Andrew May of Kentucky wrongly accused him of having the congressman investigated in 1941 regarding Erie Basin Metal Products Co. Royall said the accusation was the fourth time May approached him about firms under inquiry as the probe examined war profits of 16 companies.
