Let Freedom Ring inspires Home group July 4 pageant
A large group of neighbors and friends joined the Home group on the evening of July 4 to witness the patriotic pageant Let Freedom Ring. The event, led by Dr. Kerr and Mrs. Kerr with the Mayflower and Pilgrim scenes, drew applause and bells, ending with fireworks. The Kerr family then visited Matison Wisconsin and Ames Iowa for orientation events at Iowa State University.

Demonstrations covered ground beef patties cake mix and stew with Ruth Ann and Marjorie Wulf. plans set for Achievement Day at Bethel Church on July 17 with exhibits due by 6 p m and each girl to bring a dozen cookies.

Sarah Schoonover came home last night after a few days visiting her aunt Mrs. Carl Messer in Mt. Pleasant. Pleasant.

4 H Club Members To Enjoy Chicago Tour
Four H project feeders from Salona and Norway Iowa will tour Chicago on Tuesday February 16. They will travel by chartered buses under Yoder Feeds supervision with chaperones Mrs Charles Schrader and Mrs Herb Schulte. Activities include visits to the Museum of Science and Industry and O Hare Airport followed by a Cubs Braves game at Wrigley Field.
