Two Guard Divisions Ordered To Europe
The army announced two guard infantry divisions the 28th from Pennsylvania and the 45th from Rhode Island Connecticut and Vermont will be moved to Europe in the fall to bolster Eisenhowers European defense command. Funeral services for Dale Heyde were held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon in the armory with Rev. T. C. Polk in charge. Attending in a body were members of the national guard, Moose lodge, the fire department and the guard wives. Pallbearers were John Green, Glen Murphy, Warren Stewart, Richard Moothart, Dale Eivestone and James Clegg. Burial was in Elm Grove cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Sherman's funeral home.
