Olds youth injured by silo auger in farm incident
Bob Swailes, about 20, son of Art and Mrs Swailes of Olds, is in good condition at Memorial Hospital Mt Pleasant after injuring his left foot and lower leg when his foot was caught in a mechanical auger while removing silage at the Wilbur Allender farm northwest of Mt Pleasant Friday morning. He will stay hospitalized at least until Sunday due to circulatory problems in the foot. The accident occurred about 6 30 as Swailes did farm chores. Albert Allen and wife helped free him.
