Neighbors contest road opening near Jackson two
In Jackson two three prosperous farmers Haigler and the Shiebeeks agreed to open a north south road to reach the public highway. Haigler sold land for 150 dollars. Shiebecks sought 175 for the elder and 75 for the son. Appraisers allowed 30, the board later awarded the elder and the younger Shiebecks the same amount as the appraisers.
