Legion Chief Backs Adjusted Compensation in Iowa
Iowa Commander Hanford MacNider pledges four square support for the Adjusted Compensation bill now in Congress opposing Chamber of Commerce efforts to defeat it. He cites a 1920 letter in favor as proof of long standing backing and urges veterans to lobby Senators Cummins and Kenyon and their congressmen. The Iowa Legion plans a broad outreach to inform business groups and the public.
